Ski Swap Seller Info

  1. All inventory must be registered and dropped off prior to the event.  There is no gear entry at the swap. If you can’t make the drop off dates, please contact kcsscyouth@gmail.com prior to drop off dates.

  2. You set the sale price and decide what percentage (25-50%) of the sale goes to the KCSSC Sponsorship Fund. There are no mark-downs during or after the swap. For your convenience, we’ve provided the registration sheet for you to print at your leisure, and take your time sorting through your gear stack!
    Pricing Guidelines
  3. At drop off, you will get a number. Your gear will be tagged with your desired sale price, and your coordinating number. Once the sale is finished, we will add up your sales, and a check will be in the mail for you within 2 weeks of the swap.
  4. By registering gear, you are also agreeing to pick-up unsold gear on the pickup day/time.  Failure to do so is an implicit act of donating the remaining gear.

Drop-off Gear – Oct 17 5-9 Dru Bru Cle Elum

  • Drop-off is inside Dru Bru. Look for the KCSSC Logo!
  • Gear that is broken or no longer saleable (ski bindings primarily) will not be accepted.
    Unsafe gear found during the swap will be set aside and be available at Pickup.
  • There will be NO late drop off available.  For early drop off, contact KCSSC directly.
  • If you want to donate gear let us know at Gear Drop Off.

Pickup Unsold Gear – Sunday Oct 19th – Ralley Tuned 703 E 1st St. Cle Elum

  • You will get an email on Saturday evening if your gear wasn’t sold.
  • Please come during pickup time 10-12.
    • After 12, your gear will be in a truck heading to storage.  
    • Your gear will be in the enclosed trailer as orderly as possible. 
    • We will have volunteers to help.
  • You will have to prove the unsold gear is yours. Before coming, print your unsold gear email.
    If you do not see an email Sunday morning, check your Junk folder
  • If you did not find an item at Gear Pickup, we will assume it was lost or stolen, mark it Sold and add it to your check.
    • If it was later found its status will be in “Storage”.   
      You will get an email with Date/Time and location where you can pick it up.

Missed Gear Pickup, 2nd chance

  • Watch for an email for Missed Pickup, Unsold Gear to be Donated by Monday evening.
    The email will include where and the dates/times to pick up your gear.
    If you missed pickup and did not received this email, check Junk folder.
    If you do not pickup your unsold gear, it will be considered DONATED.
  • If there was an unforeseen circumstance (accident, hospitalization, etc.) during  the 2nd chance pickup, send an email to kcsscyouth@gmail.com for a Last Pickup exception.

Payment for Sales

  • You will be paid 50-75% of all equipment sold, not for equipment donated.
  • We will attempt to send your check within 2 weeks of the swap. 
  • Inventory sale status issues may cause us to send a second check when resolved.
  • You must cash your check within 6 weeks of receipt or it will be cancelled and considered a donation.
  • If you have an issue, send Seller ID/email, your name, inventory number & equipment type to kcsscyouth@gmail.com

The KCSSC Ski Swap will:

  1. Manage your gear and sales income as securely as possible.  People do still manage to switch labels and steal gear.  We will take all issues very seriously and do our very best to treat our customers fairly.
  2. Print the tags attach them to the gear when you drop it off.
  3. Keep the Registration through December so you can inquire the status of gear sold and check sent. 
  4. We will send a reminder email after the sale to all who have gear to pick up.
    There may be a follow-up reminder for gear found that did not have a tag.
  5. We will hold the gear for 1 week to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.

  6. We will attempt to send checks for sold gear within two weeks of the swap.
    If there are sales processing errors, we will send a follow-up check when it is resolved.

Snowmobile Seller Info

We have 30 spots for sleds and trailers. Additional spots may open up on 3rd street later.  $20 donation to the club to reserve a spot. Reservations will be available beginning Aug 18.  Reserve your Sled Swap spot here!

1. Each reserved spot is one parking space wide, and the length of one truck and Parking is first come, first served.  We will start by filling the rows closest to the vendors, and work our way back.  Attendants will be there to direct you.

2. Sled/Trailer parking begins at 9:30am. All snowmobiles & trailers must be parked by 10:30am on the morning of the event.  There is no early drop off for snowmobiles.

3. Snowmobile Sellers will work just like commercial vendors.  You set the sale price and you handle the sale.  KCSSC will not process any transaction on your behalf.

4. By participating in our swap, you are also agreeing to pick up unsold gear by 6pm the day of the swap.  Failure to do so is an implicit act of donating the remaining gear.
