HARD REGISTRATION CLOSURE NOVEMBER 23
Our club meets at Snoqualmie Pass on Wednesday nights for 8 consecutive weeks. These are simple Community Club Rides where we just get together and ride! There is no formal training. Mostly learning and laughing with peers.
Riders will be divided into groups based on age and skill level. A parent volunteer chaperone will ride with each group. Each group’s chaperone will have a radio for communication.
We depend on parents to chaperone the groups and the shuttle! If parents do not ski or snowboard, we will make accommodations.
The shuttle is optional for families who can’t make the drive up. There are 1-2 parent volunteer chaperones on the shuttle. Chaperoning is not required, but highly appreciated! This is a great way for parents who don’t ski/snowboard to still help the club.
Step 1: Register for Club. Club begins January 7th. We ride every Wednesday evening from 5-7:30 for 8 weeks. Educational clinics and “field trips” to other resorts dates are TBD. Club ends with a tailgate party at Hyak on Sunday, March 1 or 8 (TBD)
**Note: All riders must be able to load and unload the chair lift without assistance.**
Step 2: Submit Membership Fees
Club Membership Only- $40 per child.
Club Membership and Ski Shuttle- $170 per child
This helps cover costs such as radios, end of season tailgate party, etc. Please indicate the name(s) of all youth members you are donating on behalf of.
Step 3: Apply for Sponsorships!
KCSSC SPONSORSHIP– Let our club cover your costs of lessons, tickets, and rentals! (Members must still pay the $40 membership fee) APPLY HERE
Hope Source Youth Scholarship– In addition to our in house sponsorship, Hope Source will cover $100/child per month for skiing and snowboarding with our club! This will help cover the costs of lift tickets, and rentals! Simply apply through the Hope Source website, and our club will handle the rest. APPLY HERE
